With Islam today having over one billion followers, the Qur’an is probably the most widely read book in the world, with sections of it being recited at least five times a day by Muslims during their daily prayers.
This recording features the original Arabic recited by the respected Egyptian Qari Sheikh Muhammad Al-Minyaoui with each verse being followed by its English translation read by Yusuf Islam. The Arabic recitation style is tartil and the English narration is based upon The Noble Qur’an translated by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan.
